Considering a Golf Membership? The ACE Club is a Natural!
After months of binging on Netflix and over-walking the dog, Americans are seeking safe outdoor recreation alternatives that can be enjoyed while paying attention to social distancing. Golf has proven itself to meet these criteria since the game can be played in groups even without close physical interaction, while tee time bookings control the flow of people into all that open space.
Knowing that golf is still considered a safe activity during these challenging times, the question arises, whether a golf membership is a good investment or not. We checked in with Michael Mitchell, PGA Head Professional and Director of Membership Sales at the ACE Club. Mitchell describes the experience of golfing at the private club like “none other.“ It is not only a “stunning adventure in golf,” but also a great place to come together with friends and family or to entertain clients and conduct business.
The ACE Club here at The Chubb Hotel and Conference Center, was expertly laid out in 2003 and is designed by none other than Gary Player. Nestled into the rolling Pennsylvania landscape, and perfect for golfers of every skill level, Player described the course as one that encompasses everything that he loves, from beautiful views, to a diverse hole structure and fun architecture.
While the ACE Club is known for its championship 18-hole course with five tee boxes ensuring enjoyment at any handicap level, Mitchel also points out the two-tiered driving range, an oversize putting green and two additional acres dedicated to iron and wedge practice. The practice facility and the course alike are therefore unrivaled in the Philadelphia area and have been rated as top 50 facilities nationally.

Interested golfers at the ACE Club can choose between a corporate and an individual membership.
A corporate membership is available exclusively to approved legal operating entities, including the member’s families in the form of spouses and children under the age of 23 who are living at home, attending school, or serving the military. A corporation may have up to four due paying members associated with their membership. The great advantage of a corporate membership and exception of the ACE Club is that corporate members may send two unaccompanied foursomes to the golf course per day. Individual memberships are available for individuals and members’ families (see above). Guests of this membership category must be accompanied by a member.
Both memberships provide full access to the ACE Club including not only a high-end golf experience and one of the best golf courses in the country and the 35,000-square-foot club house boasting a masonry fireplace, golf shop, luxury locker rooms, and culinary offerings.
“If you’re a golf enthusiast and love the game, a membership is worth it just because of the golf experience here at the ACE Club,“ said Mitchell.
Guests of the Chubb Conference Center can make reservations through the front desk – even without a membership.
